HBCSE, TIFR/Mumbai has declared a total of 11 positions available which include Project Scientific Officer (B), Project Scientific Assistant (B), Project Assistant, Project Work Assistant, Clerk Trainee, Technical Trainee (Civil), Tradesman Trainee (Plumber), Tradesman Trainee (Carpenter) etc. These positions are purely on contract basis. All these posts will be located and held in Mumbai and the interviews are scheduled to be held on 27th December, 2024. Educational Qualification:

1. Project Scientific Officer (B) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • Full-time Master of Science in any field of Biology with an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
   • One year post-qualification experience in the appropriate field.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • Knowledge of personal computers and use of standard software.
   • Proficiency in graphic design or bioinformatics software.
   • Proficiency in English and/or experience with science outreach.

2. Project Scientific Assistant (B) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • Full-time B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry with an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
   • Proficiency with personal computers and their programs.
   • 0 to 2 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • M.Sc. in Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry with an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Graduation.
   • Proficiency in English and/or experience with science outreach.

3. Project Assistant –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • Full-time Graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized institute.
   • A minimum of one year’s experience in correspondence and secretarial work in a sizable, well-known company.
   • Knowledge of typing.
   • Proficiency in using personal computers and applications, supported by certifications from government-approved organizations.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • Good written & oral communication skills.
   • Experience in purchase & stores is preferred.

4. Project Work Assistant (1st Post) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • Passed S.S.C. or equivalent from a recognized Board.
   • Minimum one year experience.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • 10 + 2 qualification.
   • Should know how to use computers, email, printers, and scanning devices.
   • Good communication skills.

5. Project Work Assistant (2nd Post) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • Passed S.S.C. or equivalent from a recognized Board.
   • Minimum one year experience.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • 10 + 2 qualification.
   • Experience as an attendant in a reputed organization.

6. Project Work Assistant (3rd Post) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • S.S.C. or equivalent (Central/State Board Examinations).
   • Minimum one year experience.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • Preference to candidates with 12th (Any stream) with a minimum of 60% marks.
   • Two years of experience working in a physics lab or a similar field.
   • Fundamental understanding of basic instrument repair and troubleshooting.

7. Project Work Assistant (4th Post) –
   Essential Qualification & Experience:

   • S.S.C. or equivalent (Central/State Board Examinations).
   • Minimum one year experience.
     Desirable Qualification & Experience:
   • Basic knowledge of computers and its applications.

8. Clerk Trainee –
   Essential Qualification:

   • Graduate from a recognized University/Institute.
   • Proficiency with personal computers and software, as well as typing.

9. Technical Trainee (Civil) –
   Essential Qualification:

   • A full-time diploma in civil engineering from a government-recognized institution or university.
     Desirable Qualification:
   • Proficiency with personal computers and software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, etc.

10. Tradesman Trainee (Plumber) –
    Essential Qualification:

    • ITI (NTC) with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by NCVT in ‘Plumber’ or relevant discipline.
      Desirable Qualification:
    • Basic knowledge of plumbing and fitting materials & tools.

11. Tradesman Trainee (Carpenter) –
    Essential Qualification:

    • ITI (NTC) with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by NCVT in ‘Carpenter’ or relevant discipline.
      Desirable Qualification:
    • Basic knowledge of carpentry and furnishing materials & tools.
